Meem Daal Foundation

Meem-Daal Foundation Trust is a registered Zimbabwean-based relief and development agency which was formed in 1979. Meem-Daal Foundation Trust has been working for over three decades to help save and improve the lives of the poor and the needy in Zimbabwe under the guardianship of the late Sheikh Omar Jika Mwachande who subsequently passed away in 2007. The legacy continues ,currently under the guardianship of his sons.

What Does the Organization Do?

Our Programmes

Qurban and Meat Distribution

We slaughter Qurbaan animals as well as distribute the meat on behalf of our partners and individuals to the needy from among the communities in the country. We have so far slaughtered thousands of livestock since our founding.

Building Mosques

Meem Daal Foundation extends its humanitarian efforts to building mosques for Muslim communities in need, providing sacred spaces for worship and community gathering.

Providing Water

Meem Dal Foundation Is Also Involved In Borehole Drilling Projects That Have Enriched The Lives Of Various Communities Around Zimbabwe. Because Water Is Life We Believe That When Clean Water Is Provided Good Health Is Guaranteed To Humanity

Meem Daal Foundation supports Iftar programs, providing essential aid to those in need during the holy month of Ramadan.

Spreading the Message: Meem Daal organizes Dawah seminars to share the teachings of Islam, promote interfaith understanding, and build stronger, more compassionate communities.

Guiding the Future: Meem Daal facilitates Hifz and Madrassa programs, providing a comprehensive education in Quranic studies, Arabic language, and Islamic principles.

Meem Daal’s Madrassa feeding program ensures that students receive nutritious meals, empowering them to focus on their studies and spiritual growth.

Illuminating the Path: Meem Daal’s Dawah initiatives aim to educate, enlighten, and empower individuals to live a more purposeful and spiritually fulfilling life.

Meem Daal extends Eid greetings and support to those less fortunate, ensuring everyone can partake in the festive spirit and traditions.

Sharing the Blessings of Ramadan: Meem Daal has been providing food hampers to 1000 families and now seeks to increase its capacity to support over 5000 individuals, promoting a spirit of generosity and community.
